Back End Engineer

Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned backend developer experienced with software development and OOP design. In this exciting role you will be take personal responsibility for components technical delivery, collaborating with other developers and architects to design robust, scalable technical solutions.
You will continually improve our app development processes, practices, tools and techniques whilst sharing your expert knowledge and experience with colleagues as you advise them on the technologies and best practices of building a web application. We are looking for a passionate Back End Developer who will encourage innovation, inclusion, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity.
Key Skills
- Proficiency in Java, with a good understanding of its ecosystems
- Understanding of accessibility and server compliance.
- Solid OOP and software design knowledge.
- Knowledge in database systems.
- Deep understanding of deploying or hosting.
- Knowledge of version control (Git and GitHub).
- In-depth understanding of accessibility and security compliances.
- Ability to manage a hosting environment along with database administration.
- Understanding of scaling applications to handle the load changes that is a large amount of data traffic.
Additional/Advantageous Skills
- Server-side experience with SASS and Less.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
- Continuous Integration/DevOps experience.
- Experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, Gitlab CI etc)
